The apartment is situated within the beautifully Grand Burlington Mansions building located on Owls Road, Boscombe and is just a 2 minute walk from Boscombe beachfront and pier, or from the nearby high street with its regular street market and a variety of shops, supermarkets, bars, coffee shops, bars and restaurants. A 20 minute walk West along the promenade will bring you to Bournemouth Pier, Gardens and Town Centre (which is only 5 minutes away by car). Alternatively, you could take the land train which runs regularly along the promenade from pier to pier during the Summer.

Location information

Boscombe is situated on the coast with it’s own pier, beautiful gardens and flourishing local tourism industry. The main shopping area is based around a pedestrian precinct, including part of Sea Road, with shops, cafes and restaurants surrounding this open area. Towards the west more shops lead to the beautifully restored Victoria Boscombe Chine Gardens, and eastwards the shopping area leads towards Pokesdown, with the famous ‘antiques alley’ featuring antiques and bric a brac. Shops also flourish in adjoining roads, including Ashley Road and Palmerston Road leading towards Springbourne.
Recently Café Culture has arrived in Boscombe, with Costa Coffee and Caffe Nero trading alongside a wide variety of restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets. Boscombe also has a wide number of shops and cafes catering for different nationalities including Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Chinese and Egyptian, amongst others. Boscombe is well served by over 10 local bus services, including a service between the Bus Station and the sea front during peak holiday times. The main bus station is just behind the Sovereign Centre, a short walk through to the main shops. Boscombe also has a very popular family beach with pleasant walks through the recently refurbished Boscombe Gardens, featuring a mini golf course and sports complex; Children’s play area and café. Boscombe is home to Europe's first artificial surf reef, which launched in November 2009. The recently replenished beach is now bigger than it has been for many years.

  • We had a lovely holiday and Gemma and all the staff made sure all went to plan very pleased the flat was nice and clean with great views from roof top terrace kitchen had all we needed bed was really comfortable good walk in shower the only thing we would change was the settee in lounge want the best but it didn't spoil our time in thus flat and we watch the air show from our terrace billing but if you have difficulty walking it is hilly other wize would recommend this flat thank you
